About My HONEY
So you want to know a little about the honey I produce? Well, I consider it among the finest available anywhere and here is why:
1.) I use absolutely NO CHEMICAL TREATMENTS of any kind in my hives. I never have, not since day one. I have no second-hand gear. Everything was bought or built brand new and is completely clean and chemical-free.
2.) My honey is RAW. I never heat my honey (“to make it flow better”) during extracting or bottling. Doing so may damage the beneficial enzymes and lower its amazing health benefits.
3.) I lightly filter my honey using a single pass to remove only hive debris and bits of wax. I do NOT filter out pollen granules! All of nature’s goodness is in the bottle! You can taste the difference.
4.) I strictly adhere to Organic Management practices and inspect my hives regularly for diseases and parasites.
5.) My honey bees have been very carefully chosen from excellent genetic lines, bred over many years to be disease and pest resistant. They also show excellent hygienic behavior in the hives. These girls like their house clean!
The end result of all this careful effort is an excellent specialty honey that I carefully bottle and sell on a limited basis for those looking for the very best local honey available.
This honey is excellent for allergy sufferers. It works on the same premise as a flu shot. Your body is exposed to small amounts of foreign matter (in this case ingested pollen granules) and it builds up an immunity against the allergic reaction. Even if you don’t have allergies, pollen one of the finest sources of pure protein found anywhere in nature. Its health benefits are amazing in their own right. Look it up!
